A recent survey conducted by online lender CashNetUSA indicated that 46% of the people it surveyed had less than $800 in savings. This is a serious problem. It’s evidence that Americans have developed some very bad habits. This lesson covers, in broad terms, some good habits to cultivate and some bad habits to avoid. Many of these are covered later in the course in more detail.
Good habits include scheduling, paying with cash, saving, keeping up with events, and studying
Bad habits include impulse buying, not keeping up with accounts, borrowing, and following the crowd.
