It’s difficult to overestimate the importance of basic arithmetic, because math is fundamental and central to most areas of our life. In this 5th grade arithmetic course you will learn the basics of arithmetic as laid out in Ray’s Practical Arithmetic for 5th graders.

Grade 5 math is a requirement for just about everyone. Simply put, after mastering the material in this course, you will have a strong foundation for continuing with  6th grade course. A solid foundation in math will always be important.

This course involves a combination of lecture, reading and practice problems. This course will challenge you, but after you master the material, you will be prepared to move onto bigger and better things.
